ASG, Division of Jergens, Inc. Announces New Torque Arm Positioning System
Intuitive and User Friendly HMI Highlights this Error-Proofing Package
CLEVELAND, OHIO - Winter 2016/2017 - ASG, Division of Jergens, Inc. introduces a new torque arm positioning system that can memorize up to 500 assembly sequences. The 7” wide LCD HMI touchscreen makes set up easy, and provides a visual aid through pictures or CAD drawings to the operator. The system offers value and flexibility by supporting up to 4 encoders on a variety of different torque arm styles, ensuring there are no missed fasteners in the assembly process. Line control and communication with the tool controller are accomplished using digital I/O. This new positioning system is now available through the ASG Automation Division.
