The new HD-5000 hand-held video microscope is a portable, high resolution inspection system that provides a versatile means to observe and record small objects. Its lightweight (one pound) scope is quickly positioned and re-positioned, giving the operator flexibility not available from stand-mounted cameras. The HD-5000 has switchable 20X or 50X magnification standard, providing real-time images to any video monitor. An easily accessible "Freeze" button permits any image to be captured for further evaluation. With an optional PC image capture kit, it allows creation of jpg or bmp formatted images for presentations or web use. A USB PC interface kit (software and hardware) is also available, allowing output to computer. Lighting for the 1/4 inch CCD camera is provided by built-in white LEDs.
Resolution is 811(H) x 507 (W). Optional lenses for 1X, 100X 150X or 250X magnification are available.
Typical items inspected include: circuit boards, contacts, leads, wires, molds, dies, broaches, QC, forensic and R&D materials.
